【学内募集】延世大学校交流イベント参加者募集（2023年9月13日（水）17時申込〆切）
京都大学学生・院生の皆さん。
延世大学校（韓国）学生との交流イベントへのお誘いです。同校学生が京都大学を訪問する9月15日に、「特別講義＆学生共同セミナー」イベントが開催されます。韓国の学生と共に講義を受け、意見交換を行い、新しい友人を作りながら多様な視点を得る貴重な機会です。意欲あふれる本学学生の積極的な参加を期待します。
＊主な使用言語は英語ですが、参加学生の英語力は問いません。
＊特別講義（午前）のみ、学生共同セミナー（午後）のみの参加も可能です。
＊本セッションは、「京都サマープログラム2023（KSP2023）」の派生イベントとして企画されましたが、KSPへの参加経験にかかわらず、京都大学の学生であればどなたでも参加できます。

[特別講義]
講師：京都大学高等研究院/野生動物研究センター 准教授 山本 真也氏
演題：Investigation on the Evolution of Humanity through Comparative Animal Research（比較動物研究から探る人間性の進化）
講師紹介：チンパンジー・ボノボ・イヌ・ウマなどさまざまな動物を通して「ヒトらしさ」の進化を研究。認知研究とフィールドワークにより、共感・協力・文化など社会的知性の進化を明らかにする。生物学と心理学が組み合わさった比較認知科学で、人間本質の解明を追求。
[学生共同セミナー]
「人と自然」「社会」「文化」等のトピックについて、延世大学校生と京都大学学生間で共同セミナー（討論会）を行います。具体的なトピックは、参加者に後日お知らせします。

Dear international students at Kyoto University,
This is an invitation to a Special Lecture & Student Discussion event planned to be held at Kyoto University on Friday, September 15, 2023. This event will bring together a group of 10 exceptional students from Yonsei University, Korea. Collaborating with our local Kyoto University students, it promises to be an excellent occasion for forging new friendships and gaining fresh, diverse perspectives.
While the event is planned as a sequel to the “Discussion Sessions among Students” in the Kyoto Summer Program (KSP), any students from Kyoto University are welcome to join, regardless of their past experience in the KSP.
*Partial participation in the Special Lecture (morning) only or in the Student Discussion Session(afternoon) only is also possible.

[Special Lecture]
Lecturer: Associate Professor, Institute for Advanced Study/Wildlife Research Center, Kyoto University Shinya YAMAMOTO
Lecture Title: Investigation on the Evolution of Humanity through Comparative Animal Research
Prof. Yamamoto research sociality and intelligence evolution in humans and animals, focusing on cognition experiments and fieldwork with chimpanzees, bonobos, dogs, cats, horses, and elephants. He explores the roots of humanity, its future possibilities, and the evolution of traits like empathy, cooperation, and culture.
[Students Discussion Session]
Joint seminars (discussions) will be held between Yonsei University students and Kyoto University students on topics such as “Human and Nature,” “Society,” and “Culture”. Specific topics will be announced to participants at a later date.
